It was a lazy Sunday afternoon in Wrigleyville as I attended my 20th MLB game of the season. Alfonso Soriano hit two home runs to lead the Cubs to a 10-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
This was the 10th four-game series in which I attended every game of the series. I have never witnessed a four-game series sweep. The results of the four game series I have attended are below:

In all the games I have attended at Wrigley Field, I cannot ever remember seeing the wave. That all changed today when, in the 8th inning, the crowd at Wrigley Field not only started but continued the wave around the stadium several times. While the wave occurs in stadiums all over the world, most traditionalists feel the wave is inappropriate to perform at a sporting event. Today is a great doubleheader day. First, the Chicago Cubs are home at Wrigley Field in a 12:05 pm start.
Next, you have options. Obviously, your best bet is to attend the Chicago Blackhawks Round 2 playoff game at the United Center at 7:00 pm.
If ticket prices are too high for the Blackhawks game (or you just don’t like hockey), then consider attending the Chicago Fire game at Toyota Park (7:30 pm) or watch the Windy City Rollers at the UIC Pavilion (6:00 pm).

Amazingly there was very little traffic leaving Chicago on a Friday afternoon and I arrived in downtown Milwaukee a few minutes before 6:00 pm – meaning I need to find parking, walk to the Bradley Center and buy a ticket quickly.
I parked for free on the same corner (Juneau Ave. and Jackson St.) I did on Sunday of the NCAA Tournament. The walk is far from the Bradley Center but saved me time searching for parking closer to the stadium.
