With my mom in town to watch Dylan, I chose to drive to Milwaukee for the Lakers and Bucks game since it is easier to drive to Milwaukee after work than back to Chicago.
Parking in Milwaukee
Parking is free on city streets in Milwaukee for night games but the walk is pretty far and not necessarily worth while even though I continue to do it. This time I parked on the corner of Kilbourn Ave. and Broadway St.

One thing about Milwaukee is that it is much cheaper to …

The wife and I have a temporary agreement. Or maybe it is just a one day agreement. Since traffic is so bad driving from the Northwest suburbs to Wrigley Field on a Friday night, I can now drive to Milwaukee for sporting events at the Bradley Center on most Friday nights. We’ll see how often this actually occurs. For example, even tonight I felt lazy to drive all the way to Milwaukee for a pre-season Milwaukee Bucks game. After seeing how long it would take to drive home, I made …
Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee, Milwaukee Bucks, NBA »
Amazingly there was very little traffic leaving Chicago on a Friday afternoon and I arrived in downtown Milwaukee a few minutes before 6:00 pm – meaning I need to find parking, walk to the Bradley Center and buy a ticket quickly.
I parked for free on the same corner (Juneau Ave. and Jackson St.) I did on Sunday of the NCAA Tournament. The walk is far from the Bradley Center but saved me time searching for parking closer to the stadium.

Today I planned to attend two sporting events. First was the Chicago Cubs game scheduled at 1:20 pm. Second I planned to drive to Milwaukee for the Bucks Game 6 playoff game versus the Atlanta Hawks. There was only one problem. The Bucks game started at 6:00 pm – meaning the Cubs game needed to end around 4:15 pm in order for me to make the Bucks game on time (it takes a minimum of 90 minutes to drive from Wrigley Field to the Bradley Center). Any delay in the …
The wife has plans tonight. Whenever she has plans (that do not include me), I always pick out a game to attend somewhere within a reasonable distance – meaning I cannot spend the night in another city and come home the next day (a reasonable request I guess). Most guys might head to the bar or out with some buddies, but I prefer sporting events (for better or worse). Once her dinner was official, I planned to attend the Milwaukee Bucks game versus the Utah Jazz in Milwaukee. I have …
Tonight’s best game to attend is actually in Milwaukee as the Milwaukee Bucks host LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Bradley Center. If you are not looking to drive that far your next option is to watch the Dallas Mavericks play the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
As usual tickets for the Bucks game are cheap. StubHub is currently listing upper level seats for less than $20. Bulls’ tickets are also cheap – upper level seats between $20 and $30. Be sure to use …
The Chicago Blackhawks host the Edmonton Oilers in the best game in Chicagoland tonight. Puck drops at 7:30 pm at the United Center.
Your next best bet (or if you live in Milwaukee and do not want to drive to Chicago), is the Milwaukee Bucks game versus the Washington Wizards. Tip off is 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center.
