Northwestern’s Home Opener vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff

19 November 2010 No Comment

It was a Friday night and my parents were in town. Thus, we all decided to pack into the car and head to Northwestern’s Evanston campus. Nicole needed to prepare for her job interview on Monday and my parents, Dylan and I wanted to attend Northwestern’s first regular season game of the year.

Rather than park for free on city streets, we decided to pay for parking in the parking lot east of Ryan Field. As we approached the arena, there was a ticket scalper with a lot of extra tickets. He wanted $10 per ticket, but I told him we did not want to pay for the baby so we would take four tickets for $30. He asked for $35 but eventually agreed on $30.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Northwestern
Northwestern cruised to a 71-45 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff as Drew Crawford and John Shurna scored 17 points apiece.
