It was one of those days where nothing went as planned. First, the babysitter called me to cancel. That was fine since I could just bring the Ultimate Sports Baby to the Cubs game with me. Next, the Cubs postponed their game versus the Rockies after a 54 minute rain delay (game was finally postponed at 2:15 pm). Ugh! Not only could I not go to the Cubs game, I had to take care of Dylan for the entire day with no sporting event to attend. The worst part too was that they could have delayed the game and played later in the afternoon. But with both teams flying out after the game, it was much more lucrative to the Cubs to push this game back to June 27 when more fans would attend the summer date.
