First Father’s Day Spent at Wrigley Field: Angels at Cubs

20 June 2010 One Comment

On Mother’s Day, the Ultimate Sports Wife gave birth to our first child. Today, Dylan (aka Ultimate Sports Baby) attended his fourth Cubs game to celebrate Father’s Day.

Bringing the Ultimate Sports Baby
Since we were with the Ultimate Sports Baby we sat in Row 1 of Section 504 – way down the left field line. One good way to bring an infant to a sporting event is to leave him in his infant car seat. That way you can carry the car seat into the ballpark and not have to take him out of his seat. If you do this, you will want to sit in the first row of either the 200 or 500 level. The first row is much wider than any other rows at Wrigley Field and will give you plenty of room for the car seat.

Beer Vendor Trick
Since we were sitting in this new location, we noticed a beer vendor’s beer opening trick. First he places two plastic cups over two white plastic humps. Second, he opens the beer, slams the can into the cup and pours it immediately. It is a sight to be seen and amazing he does not spill anything.

Anaheim Angels at Chicago Cubs
Carlos Zambrano shut down the Angels as the Cubs reversed their fortunes from Saturday afternoon and won 12-1.
