Gentile Center 6511 N. Winthrop Ave., Chicago, IL

Stadium Review
History
The Gentile Center is located on the north side of Chicago on the Loyola University campus. The first Loyola men’s basketball took place on November 23, 1996 against Eastern Michigan. The Gentile Center seats 5,200. On December 9, 2000, the men’s basketball team faced defending NCAA Champion Michigan St. as 5,513 filled the arena – a Gentile Center record.

Loyola University competes in the Horizon League with three other teams in the Chicago and Milwaukee area: UIC Flames, UW-Milwaukee Panthers and the Valparaiso Crusaders.

Parking
Plan to park in the Loyola Parking Structure if you drive. You may be able to find street parking west of Sheridan Rd. if you prefer but check the parking signs as some streets require resident permits.

Public Transportation
Buses run along Sheridan Rd. constantly. The most convenient option is the CTA Red Line which stops at the Loyola train station – one block from the Gentile Center.

Location of Ticket Scalpers
There are no scalpers around the Gentile Center. There may be a slight chance you will receive a free ticket from a fan as you approach the box office but I would not spend any time doing so.
