Chicago / Milwaukee Sporting Events: Fri, Jan. 1
With all of the college football games and the NHL Winter Classic to watch on television today, there are two sporting events to attend on New Year’s Day in Chicagoland and Milwaukee.
1) Milwaukee Admirals vs. Houston Aeros at Bradley Center (6:00 pm) in Milwaukee, WI.
2) Chicago Steel vs. Lincoln Stars at Edge Ice Arena (7:30 pm) in Bensenville, IL.
If racing is your thing, you can attend thoroughbred horse racing at Hawthorne Racecourse in Cicero, IL (post time 1:05 pm) or harness racing at Maywood Park in Maywood, IL (post time 7:20 pm).
