For some scheduling reason, the Los Angeles (Anaheim) Angels had never visited Wrigley Field until today and are the last Major League Baseball team to do so.<\/p>\n

Pre Game Dining<\/span>
\nBefore the game, my friend Cory and I went to Murphy\u2019s \u2013 a bar I rarely go to since it is overpriced and overcrowded. But for some reason I went after yesterday\u2019s game and before today\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Anaheim Angels at Chicago Cubs<\/span>
\nThe Angels took advantage of consecutive errors in the 7th inning by Jeff Baker to take a 6-2 lead which they later added another run to take a 7-2 lead heading into the ninth inning.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when the Cubs bats and the weather started to make noise. Just before one of the most intense Chicago thunderstorms I can recall, the Cubs scored four runs in the bottom of the 9th inning to close the Angels lead to one run. But, the Cubs could not overcome the deficit losing 7-6. The irony is that the thunderstorm occurred against the Angels who play in Orange County \u2013 one of the most mild weather areas in the country.<\/p>\n
