Today I planned to attend two sporting events. First was the Chicago Cubs game scheduled at 1:20 pm. Second I planned to drive to Milwaukee for the Bucks Game 6 playoff game versus the Atlanta Hawks. There was only one problem. The Bucks game started at 6:00 pm \u2013 meaning the Cubs game needed to end around 4:15 pm in order for me to make the Bucks game on time (it takes a minimum of 90 minutes to drive from Wrigley Field to the Bradley Center). Any delay in the Cubs game and I would not make it to Milwaukee on time.<\/p>\n

\nBefore the game, the Ultimate Sports Wife and I ate at Uncommon Ground for brunch. Uncommon Ground is a great restaurant to take the family before the game. The place is calm and avoids the insanity of Wrigleyville bars.<\/p>\n
\nAfter losing to the Diamondbacks 13-5 on Thursday afternoon, the Cubs came from behind to defeat Arizona 11-5 today. The game lasted 3:02 \u2013 meaning it ended just after 4:20 pm giving me barely enough time to make the drive to Milwaukee for the Bucks playoff game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
