Once again Nicole needed to be on campus tonight.\u00a0 With the Northwestern women\u2019s basketball team playing at home I decided to make the trip to Evanston.\u00a0 I dropped Nicole off at the Sociology department and drove up to Welsh-Ryan Arena.<\/p>\n

\nTonight may have been the first time I have paid full price (only $7) for a Northwestern women\u2019s basketball game.\u00a0 In the past, the women\u2019s games have always seemed to have some special that allowed you to buy a discounted ticket.<\/p>\n
\nThe women pulled off something the men could not do last night \u2013 come from behind to win the game.\u00a0 Indiana led by four points with 23 seconds left in the game, but Northwestern made two three-point shots to send the game to overtime.\u00a0 The first was made by Kristin Cartwright with 14 seconds left and the second by Beth Marshall with only four seconds left.<\/p>\n
\nAfter the game, I picked up Nicole and we ate dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings in Evanston.\u00a0 Buffalo Wild Wings seems to be my women\u2019s basketball restaurants of choice as I also eat there before or after DePaul women\u2019s basketball games.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
