Times<\/a> beat me to the culinary punch- reviewing the best (and worst) in ballpark food from around MLB. Of course, the action is on the field, but a perk of going to the park is the chance for great food- beyond the peanuts and Cracker Jacks. Take a peak at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2008\/06\/08\/travel\/08baseball.html?_r=1&amp;oref=slogin\" target=\"_blank\">interactive map<\/a> which has the highlights of the &#8220;culinary scorecard.&#8221;  Beyond my favorite ballpark food at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anygame-anywhere.com\/nicole\/2008\/05\/three-day-relay-miller-park-and-secret.html\" target=\"_blank\"> Miller Park<\/a>, Safeco Field scored high for their planked salmon, Dodger Stadium for their pastrami hero,  and PNC Park for their Primanti Brothers sandwich.<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chicago, as a city, came up very disappointing.  You would think that the Chicago Cubs would have amazing food to match their amazing park.  But, it is just average. (Now, I could have told you that).   I think the Cubs know it as well so they are very lenient about letting you bring in your own snacks.  My advice: find a favorite hot dog stand around the park and &#8220;import&#8221; your own chicago dog and fries into the Wrigley.  It is perfectly legal and you can save some money for beer.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">As for that &#8220;other&#8221; park in Chicago, it did significantly worse than average.  According to the N.Y. Times, here is what you should eat at U.S. Cellular: &#8220;Nothing. Your best bet is to bring a six-pack to the parking lot and barter a cold one for a tailgater&#8217;s hot dog.&#8221; Now, I couldn&#8217;t have said that better.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Looks like Peter Meehan of the N.Y.
