Stadium Review
History
Scottrade Center opened on October 8, 1994. The arena is known for its nine-second fog horn blast which is followed up by a rendition of “When the Saints Go Marching In” whenever the St. Louis Blues score a goal.

The arena has hosted several significant sporting events. It has hosted the Women’s NCAA Tournament Final Four twice in 2001 and 2009, the 1998 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Midwest Regional, the 2006 United States Figure Skating Championships and the 2007 Frozen Four. The arena also hosted a PBR Built Ford Tough Series annually since 1997 and the Welterweight Title Fight between Cory Spinks and Zab Judah in 2005.

Parking
Approximately 6,500 parking spaces are available within 1,800 feet of the arena – 1270 of those adjacent to Scottrade Center.

Public Transportation
The MetroLink stops about one block south of Scottrade Center. Get off at the Civic Center Station and walk north.

Location of Ticket Scalpers
Ticket scalpers will be waiting as you walk from the MetroLink station to Scottrade Center.
