History
HSBC Arena first opened on September 21, 1996. It is home to the Buffalo Sabres of the NHL and the Buffalo Bandits of the NLL.

The arena has hosted the NHL Conference Finals four times in 1998, 1999, 2006 and 2007. In 1999, the Buffalo Sabres advanced to the NHL Finals.

Parking
There are plenty of independent lots around HSBC Arena. General Parking is located down Perry St. and parking meters are not monitored after 5 pm on weekdays or at all on weekends if you care to park for free.

Location of Ticket Scalpers
Ticket scalpers are located on the stretch north of HSBC Arena where people walk in from either parking or eating on Pearl St.
