Washington Capitals at Chicago Blackhawks by Ultimate Sports Fan, Andrew

It was Tony Esposito night at the Blackhawks game last night which meant the game was sold out except for standing room. My plan to buy a student ticket was foiled for the third time this season. However, there were extra tickets outside the stadium. One guy wanted face value ($50). Yea right! Another guy wanted $20 for his $50 ticket. I thought about it, but figured I could find a $10 ticket. After walking all the way around the United Center I decided to walk back east on Madison Ave. As soon as I started, a man asked me if I needed an extra. The face was $10, he wanted $20 but I paid $10.

The NHL’s leading scorer, Alexnader Ovechkin, was held to only two shots on goal. If he scored two goals he would have had 60 for the season. In the end, the Blackhawks shutout their opponent for the 4th time this season – all games I have attended.
