I was on my own with the Ultimate Sports Baby on Sunday. Guess I should have figured that after spending Friday night in Minneapolis and flying back to Chicago Saturday evening. Thus, we were off to the Chicago White Sox game on the final day of MLB’s regular season. I-94 Doubleheader Continued: Indians at White Sox

As I mentioned in my last post I had planned to attend the Brewers afternoon game in Milwaukee yesterday. However, there were multiple options of games to attend at night – the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago White Sox were all at home. Since I was invited to the White Sox game that became the game of choice – plus I have never attended the I-94 doubleheader (both Miller Park and U.S. Cellular Field sit directly next to I-94).

Chicago Opening Day, 70 Degrees and the Upcoming Apocalypse

The following two phrases do not go together for Chicago baseball – Opening Day and seventy degrees. Every Chicago home opener I can remember has been cold and rainy. For example, last year, the White Sox were rained out on Opening Day and the Cubs, on their home opener, had an hour and 15 minute rain delay before the game and temperatures in the 30’s for the entire game.
